I still see the issue with 2.0.2~beta2-22+deb8u1 On most jessie systems I've observed the following problems:
- the boot menu is rendered very slowly, it appears to draw the screen one line at a time over several seconds - any keypresses (for example, moving from the first boot option to the second) take effect very slowly, maybe this is also the rendering of the change - after an option is select (e.g. by pressing enter) there is a delay before boot starts As a workaround, I typically change to text console by including the following in /etc/default/grub GRUB_TERMINAL=console and running update-grub Is this a known issue upstream? Has anybody seen this with stretch too?
