youtube-dl 2017.02.07-1 fails to download from https://zdf.de which is a major German tv station which has a nice online archive, except that it doesn't support downloads by itself. I've verified that just replacing zdf.py from the 2017.02.17 upstream version was sufficient to fix this issue: sudo cp youtube-dl-2017.02.17/youtube_dl/extractor/zdf.py /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/youtube_dl/extractor/zdf.py -- cheers, Holger
