Package: firmware-linux-nonfree Version: 0.43 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Firmware for bluetooth adapter 0a5c:21e8 can be found at http://plugable.com/2014/06/23/plugable-usb-bluetooth-adapter-solving-hfphsp- profile-issues-on-linux/. Without this firmware, audio will not work over bluetooth with this adapter. The same firmware can be used for 0a5c:21e6, but needs to be renamed appropriately. Workaround is to follow the instructions on the web site to download and install the firmware to /lib/firmware. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.7 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) firmware-linux-nonfree depends on no packages. firmware-linux-nonfree recommends no packages.
