Package: blueman Version: 2.1~alpha1-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? Wanted to upload a file to a smartphone (Android 6, Samsung A310F) Installed blueman from Sid, later from experimental when told by reportbug in the first attempt. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Pairing the device was ok. Random code was generated and confirmed on remote side. Device is in the list, some functions (including file sending) are now enabled in the context menu. Used file sending - a file selection dialog came up, then selected file and said OK. * What was the outcome of this action? Nothing happens. No feedback nor success. Phone does not display any upload in progress either. * What outcome did you expect instead? Either a useful error message (indicating the problem source) or success, and in any case some progress indication after a couple of seconds. Here some gibberish from the command line, maybe this helps: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/blueman-sendto", line 139, in <module> SendTo() File "/usr/bin/blueman-sendto", line 94, in __init__ self.do_send() File "/usr/bin/blueman-sendto", line 101, in do_send sender = Sender(self.device, self.adapter, self.files) File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/blueman/main/Sendto.py", line 97, in __init__ self.client = obex.Client() File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/blueman/bluez/Base.py", line 55, in __new__ instance._init(*args, **kwargs) File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/blueman/bluez/obex/Client.py", line 28, in _init 'org.freedesktop.DBus.Introspectable') GLib.Error: g-io-error-quark: Fehler beim Aufruf von StartServiceByName für org.bluez.obex: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.systemd1.NoSuchUnit: Unit dbus-org.bluez.obex.service not found.
