Package: gnubg-data Version: 1.04.000-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
The two-sided bearoff database, gnubg_ts0.bd, is not included in gnubg-data. This causes the warning below when gnubg is started and may impair its playing skill in the very late stage of the game. If the file size is an issue you may consider including a smaller database generated with "makebearoff -t 6x5" instead of the 6x6 suggested below. ***WARNING*** Note that GNU Backgammon does not use the gnubg.bd file. You should obtain the file gnubg_ts0.bd or generate it yourself using the program 'makebearoff'. You can generate the file with the command: makebearoff -t 6x6 -f gnubg_ts0.bd You can also generate other bearoff databases; see README for more details -- System Information: Distributor ID: Raspbian Description: Raspbian GNU/Linux 8.0 (jessie) Release: 8.0 Codename: jessie Architecture: armv7l Kernel: Linux 4.4.34-v7+ (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnubg-data depends on: ii ttf-dejavu-core 2.34-1 Versions of packages gnubg-data recommends: ii gnubg 1.04.000-1 gnubg-data suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
