I am also experiencing this problem with a Yubikey. I had the same issue as in #854616 at first, and implemented the udev rule workaround. It worked until the Yubikey was unplugged. I believe this bug should be of severity grave (but will leave this to the maintainer). > sudo systemctl stop pcscd.socket > sudo systemctl start pcscd.socket These commands did bring it back to life until the next time it was unplugged, at which point the socket needed to be restarted again.
