The third party service in question has been comparitvely stable for a while, until the changes they made early this year that also affects Stretch. The Jessie version was working up until these changes (as far as I know, I've been using it sporadically on Jessie). I could point out that it supports services other than svtplay.se as well. It is my belief that the users of svtplay-dl in Debian would be better of with 1.9.1 in Stretch, if that is possible. -- Olof
