I don't know what to say about this, but nss itself builds fine on MIPS: https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?arch=&pkg=nss as do packages that depend on it, like ceph or systemtap: https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?arch=&pkg=ceph https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?arch=&pkg=systemtap other dependent packages appear to have some build failures there too: https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?arch=&pkg=dogtag-pki Sorry to not understand the problem space better!
