if you ask me, the entire packaging is broken beyond imagination. the
upstream scripts contain a lot of relative paths that depend on the
original file locations. relocating the files according to debian's
policy without patching the scripts has not the slightest chance of
working properly. i cannot imagine it has been tested at all ...
