Heya there. So, I've been having this problem with Plymouth for about a month
on a computer with Sid, an AMD graphics card and GDM as default graphical
session. Only today I considered going into the BTS, and found this bug report.
Apparently, it *was* indeed the Systemd service.

Actually, no. That's what `/etc/systemd/system/display-manager.service` has set
by default, and it doesn't fix the problem. I replaced the mentions to
`plymouth-quit.service` with `plymouth-quit-wait.service`, and - surprise, now
it works! The transition to GDM is not perfectly smooth, but at least it lets
me use the computer.

I'll try out now to see if mentioning both `plymouth-quit.service` and
`plymouth-quit-wait.service` makes any difference. Anyway, please fix this
soon, it *is* critical and we already have a solution!
