It was in the past, now you have the choice between GStreamer 0.8 or 0.10. I just uploaded Rhythmbox 0.9.3 which fixes a bunch of bugs, I'm sure you'll find it more stable than it ever was. The packages should be visible on ftp.debian.org tonight, but only tomorrow from mirrors. There's just an issue that you should avoid: right now nothing pulls "gstreamer0.10-alsa", you should install it manually for now. At all rates, if something doesn't work, then we should try to repair it. Perhaps you discovered a new type of bugs we didn't think of? > I'd say close the bug.
