Package: burp
Version: 2.0.54-1
Severity: important

Hi,

Burp package shipped with testing (and soon Stretch) cannot work as a client
connecting to a server running Debian stable (Jessie). On a machine running
Debian testing, since the burp package has been updated to v2.0.54, I cannot
perform my backups anymore on a Debian jessie server running burp v1.3.48. This
has been confirmed on the burp-users mailing list [1].

I believe this is going to be an issue in the migration between Jessie and
Stretch and this should be noted somewhere in the release notes.

Antoine
