Dear Kunal, I think I failed to get the point across. Let's take the link you have shared itself. I had actually downloaded the source to see what all was in the package. While the documentation is very detailed with /mediawiki/mediawiki-1.27.1/debian/mediawiki.NEWS and /mediawiki/mediawiki-1.27.1/debian/changelog. What seems to be missing is a high-level overview. For instance, if I were to ask you what were the biggest 5-10 changes between mediawiki 1.26 and mediawiki 1.27 I'm sure you would be able to share/tell in a jiffy. That sort of high-level changes I want to know about . What the upstream changelogs do is tell everything including the kitchen sink but don't tell which are the ones which are either 'interesting' or to watch out for . It would be nicer if those changes could be hand-picked and put in a NEWS file so it's easier for a potential user to know/see what the big changes were in any two versions. Looking forward to know. -- Regards, Shirish Agarwal शिरीष अग्रवाल My quotes in this email licensed under CC 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/ http://flossexperiences.wordpress.com EB80 462B 08E1 A0DE A73A 2C2F 9F3D C7A4 E1C4 D2D8
