Hi Jörg,

Please try the following procedure: (1) scan, (2) save, (3) delete, (4)
scan, (5) save. The "Start New Document" button is never pressed. Step 5
will overwrite the file from 2 without confirmation.

Perhaps the second save should also prompt for a file name (in addition to
confirming the replacement) since the user may have had a separate use for
the first file, such as saving a document without attachments. Thank you!

thank you for spending your time helping to make Debian better with
this bug report.

I have checked the handling.

 * scan one page
 * save the page
 * select "Start new document"
 * scan one page
 * select "Start new document"
 * - opens "Save current document"
 * and so on...


All save function are "Save as" so that the file name can selected or
written.

Multiple Scans are saved with -1, -2, ... as index.

So I don't see any replace without confirmation.


Please can you explain what you mean?
