Package: libopenscap8 Version: 1.2.8-1ubuntu1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Canonical security certification team is implementing SCAP content based on CIS and STIG compliance rules. A good portion of these rules are beyond the scope of SCAP and OVAL, and will require the Script Check Engine (SCE) facility provided by OpenSCAP. SCE is not enabled by default, and will require the addition of the "--enable-sce" option in the "debian/rules" file to turn it on. A Ubuntu bug report has been filed here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openscap/+bug/1658792. A patch to enable SCE is available here: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/303863167/openscap-1.2.8.patch. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers xenial-updates APT policy: (500, 'xenial-updates'), (500, 'xenial-security'), (500, 'xenial'), (100, 'xenial-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-59-generic (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libopenscap8 depends on: ii libapt-pkg5.0 1.2.18 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-8 ii libc6 2.23-0ubuntu5 ii libcap2 1:2.24-12 ii libcurl3 7.47.0-1ubuntu2.2 ii libgcc1 1:6.0.1-0ubuntu1 ii libgcrypt20 1.6.5-2ubuntu0.2 ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.42+dfsg-2ubuntu3.1 ii libpcre3 2:8.38-3.1 ii libselinux1 2.4-3build2 ii libstdc++6 5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.04.4 ii libxml2 2.9.3+dfsg1-1ubuntu0.1 ii libxslt1.1 1.1.28-2.1 libopenscap8 recommends no packages. libopenscap8 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
