Package: x11-common Version: 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 Followup-For: Bug #343389
I've got the same issue with missing rgb.txt after I upgraded from Sarge (installed from netinst CD) to testing. Note that I used Sarge + some packages from testing before the upgrade. xterm showed black on black due to missing rgb.txt. 'aptitude reinstall x11-common' did not recover the file, so I had to copy it manually from .deb archive. P.S. Probably, the right package for this report is dpkg/apt/aptitude/... -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages x11-common depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.67 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.15.2 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii lsb-base 3.0-14 Linux Standard Base 3.0 init scrip x11-common recommends no packages. -- debconf information: perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = "en_RU:en_US:en_GB:en", LC_ALL = (unset), LC_CTYPE = "ru_RU.KOI8-R", LANG = (unset) are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C"). locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory x11-common/experimental_packages: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
