tag 848368 - patch thanks I have tested the patch and indeed it only works on libllvm, so removing the patch tag for now.

Actually all libs for which a -dev package is provided should be symbols- versioned, *specially* if there is no API/ABI commitment. So for what I do understand we need to patch the other linker scripts to add a version there, right? I'll see to look at this later, but definitely not today.
