Package: python-fife Version: 0.4.0-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
the current python-fife package (0.4.0-1) does not contain the required _fife.so in /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/fife/. The change from scons to cmake in the build system requires some more changes in the debian/rules. What worked for me was adding a --buildsystem=cmake, so that the line in debian/rules looks like this: dh $@ --with python2 --buildsystem=cmake Have a nice day. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (800, 'stable'), (500, 'oldoldstable'), (300, 'unstable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages python-fife depends on: pn python:any <none> python-fife recommends no packages. python-fife suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
