Package: chromium-widevine Severity: normal chromium-widevine exists solely to download and use the proprietary Widevine modules, so it should go in contrib.
Alternatively, you could include such support within the main chromium package; as an incidental function of that package, it wouldn't require the whole package to go to contrib, any more than Firefox's ability to download and run proprietary bits does. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
