If I choose a wayland session at startup there is no problem starting the gnome desktop. I confirmed it is using wayland. If I enable autologin, gnome desktop always starts with X. After disabling autologin I can see that the default session for my account is still a wayland session, so I just type my password and a wayland session is started. I think that this is not the way it should behave ;) TIA, Heiko.
