I intend to package the latest release of xml-rpc.el in its own source package. This is needed as a dependency for debpaste.el, which I also intend to package. At present, elserv's outdated xml-rpc.el takes precedence over the one installed by my package. I tried to test elserv with the new xml-rpc.el, but I couldn't find any instructions in English. Even with the old xml-rpc.el, `C-u M-x elserv-demo-start RET 8080 RET` doesn't start a server. Is this package completely broken, or am I missing something?
