I adopted Galeon recently, and the package was broken in the way that even when you build with optimizations deactivated, it would still turn on optimizations. Hence, your backtrace was spoiled by compiler optimizations. Could you please give try a to the Galeon version at <http://joule.via.ecp.fr/~lool/debian/galeon/1.3.19-4-debug/>, and re-paste a stack trace? It should not be spoiled this time.
