Control: retitle -1 git fetching must cope with downstream dsc copies Control: severity -1 important
Currently when history rewriting has happened, a client fetching a .dsc from a downstream gitless distro will not see the rewrites. So theose users may get the _wrong_ commits. Also even if there has not been rewriting, there is not a good way for the client to get the commits identified in some upstream .dsc.
