“Docklight” is a simple but effective dock launcher for GNOME 3 desktops e.g (cinnamon). It supports a Preview from all open Applications witch is a feature than I can’t found I other similar docks. There are similar software packages in Debian "Plank" and "Docky". They are very nice docks but a bit overloading with animations and don’t offers a widow preview witch is something that I want to have. Also the are written in “vala” so i can’t contribute to them because I’m a c++ developer and prefer to use c++ for linux development. The “DockLight” preview allows more control over the opened windows you can navigate to a specific window much easier. Select the window or close the desired application the real time preview make that very easy. “Docklight” is written in C++ with “gtkmm-3.0 libwnck-3.0”. “Docklight” is open source width a GNU General Public License. I will like to add more features and maintain the application. It is my first attempt to contribute to the great “linux debian”.
