Package: xautolock Version: 2.2-4 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
When I run xautolock like this: xautolock -nocloseout -time 1 -locker 'bash -c "echo lock"' -notify 55 -noti fier 'bash -c "echo locking in 55 secs"' I see "locking in 55 secs" appear after 5 secs of X idle time. That's what I would expect. However if I move my mouse to cause idle time to reset, I would expect to see "locking in 55 secs" again after 5 secs of idle time. This doesn't happen. Instead I see "locking in 55 secs" after about 55 secs of idle time. Are my expectations incorrect or have I found a bug? After looking at the code I believe this is related to the handling of prevNotification. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.6 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
