That is great news! In the meanwhile, I suggest to upload a prerelease version with decent quality off from git into unstable/testing so it can receive fair testing. No bugs were opened against the Debian package because these bugs were opened directly upstream. Few bugs are open upstream because the others have been fixed in the last weeks.
