What is your point? The file is part of the inssserv package, and if you remove the file insserv no longer work. The conclusion to draw from that is simply: do not remove /etc/insserv.conf. Do you know how it disappeared? There are many ways to break insserv. Those who do get to keep all the pieces. :) -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
