This is just a side-effect of PTP support and the authors of
libgphoto2 would prefer a libmedia (or whatever name) that would
concentrate on "media" devices (just like libgphoto2 concentrates on
camera devices) instead of adding complete support to libgphoto2.
So this feature (MTP support) is not advertised.
