Well that’s not strictly necessary in Debian as both chrony and openntpd conflict against each other, but what about downstreams who might not have one of them in their archive? If a user of that downstream build the missing one from upstream source, nothing would prevent it from being executed as the same time as the other implementation without that conflict, right?
