Hi. It seems unclear if this is a file-roller or gtk+ bug according to the ongoing upstream discussion. The workaround is to force file-roller to run with the X11 backend. I guess this is something we should consider for stretch and carry until a real solution has been finally reached upstream. I've tested and committed the workaround to svn.
