Package: dash-el Version: 2.13.0-1 With the current emacsen-common infrastructure, there's no need to depend on any actual emacs package (emacsen-common yes, but not emacs or any particular flavor).
While I don't think it should be hurting anything, this dependency makes some things more difficult. i.e. right now I can't purge emacs24 to make sure that a new gnuplot package I've built works when only emacs25 is installed because dash-el is required by a number of other things, and depends on emacs, which (for the time being) depends on emacs24. I suspect dash-el would be (or could be made to be) fine with just the emacsen-common dependency.
