Package: usrmerge
Version: 13
Severity: important

Hi,

I know this is very clearly stated in the package Description, but
performing this kind of irreversible migration is pretty harsh. More
so if it causes breakage that cannot be easily solved afterwards.

For initial installations via debootstrap this might be kind of ok,
as long as you realize soon enough if you want to revert and thus need
to reinstall. But for pre-existing systems this seems very wrong.

I think this deserves to be serious, but as long as it's not any kind
of default at installation or upgrade time, then giving a fat warning
might indeed, be enough.

Thanks,
Guillem
