Hello, I tried to use the large_files_SFTP.diff from "unstable" and patch the current "jessie" version of proftpd-basic ( proftpd-basic-1.3.5-1.1+deb8u1)
Downloaded the sources with apt-get source... Applied the "large_files_SFTP.diff" patch (taken from unstable) and rebuilt the package with "dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc" But the results - for me - are worse, as SFTP does not seem to function at all. As soon as I connect to SFTP with filezilla, I get the same error message....but right after the initial connect (no directory listing at all) Using the "proftpd-basic" version from "unstable" does not seem to work as there are dependencies that cannot be fullfilled on "jessie" Did I miss something here? Could someone confirm, that this patch also works with "jessie"? Kind regards, Robert
