Using xfce4-terminal, I do this: ping google.com and instead of one line per second, as usual, I get two lines every two seconds. The problem also happens when I ssh to some server and do cat some-text-file.txt Very often, but not always, I see most of the file and then it hangs. If I press Enter then I see the remaining of the file and the result of pressing Enter after the cat command. I'm using "important" here because this is very very annoying. In fact it's so annoying that I'm switching to gnome-terminal (where the problem does not happen) until it's fixed. Please feel free to ask me any kind of test to perform in case you could not reproduce this in your system. Thanks.
