Package: rxvt-unicode Version: 9.22-1+b1 Severity: normal Hi,
I've been using urxvt for a long time, with the following in xrdb: wouter@gangtai:~$ xrdb -q *customization: -color URxvt*background: black URxvt*foreground: white URxvt*scrollBar: false URxvt*shading: 40 URxvt*transparent: true this used to give me a semi-transparent background. However, since a few days, this has stopped working. I'm not sure what exactly has caused the change, though. Seen as how there hasn't been a change to urxvt in months, I suspect it's one of the dependencies or one of the X libraries that's really broken. However, since I have no clue how urxvt implements transparent backgrounds, I thought I'd file the bug against this package, so you can help me figure out where the bug really lives ;-) Regards, -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unreleased'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386, m68k, arm64 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=nl_BE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nl_BE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages rxvt-unicode depends on: ii base-passwd 3.5.42 ii libc6 2.24-8 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-6.7 ii libfreetype6 2.6.3-3+b1 ii libgcc1 1:6.2.1-5 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.0-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.2-2 ii libperl5.24 5.24.1~rc4-1 ii libstartup-notification0 0.12-4 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-2 ii libxft2 2.3.2-1 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.10-1 ii ncurses-base 6.0+20161126-1 Versions of packages rxvt-unicode recommends: ii fonts-dejavu 2.37-1 ii fonts-ipaexfont-gothic [fonts-japanese-gothic] 00301-3 ii fonts-ipafont-gothic [fonts-japanese-gothic] 00303-16 ii fonts-mona [fonts-japanese-gothic] 1:2.90-1 ii fonts-takao-gothic [fonts-japanese-gothic] 00303.01-1 ii fonts-vlgothic [fonts-japanese-gothic] 20141206-3 rxvt-unicode suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
