I packaged ruby-json-pure and it recently passed NEW. It wasn't until today that I found that the functionality of this package is completely contained within ruby-json, and that ruby-json-pure is neither needed, nor will it work. I have been taken on a little wild goose chase, and I am sorry to waste people's time with getting it added to the archive and now asking for it to be removed. So I'm asking you kindly to remove it from the archive. Thanks! micah
