Hi Daniel,by mistake I packaged and uploaded xtrackcad to Debian NEW last week. I missed that you already packaged it / maintain it. My upload got now rejected on my request on #debian-ftp IRC.
However, I have worked on the packaging intensively and I suppose it would be of benefit to the XTrackCAD package if our packagings would be merged (e.g. my debian/copyright file is more complete, the orig tarball drops loads of unneeded files, the package is split in a arch-indep -common package and an arch-dep package, etc.).
I attach my debian/ folder as is to this mail. Please let me know, if you want to do the merging or if I shall do that.
Also, I'd be interested in becoming (a) an Uploader of xtrkcad or even better (b) move the package into a team maintenance context (e.g. debian-edu-pkg-team).
So please let me know: o whether you pick the interesting parts from my debian/ folder? o or if I shall do that...? o if it is ok to have me as Uploader:? o or, even better, if it is ok to have the pkg team-maintained?
