Package: scim
Version: 1.4.4-1
Severity: normal

I use icewm as "x-window-manager" with icewm-session as "x-session-manager".
No kde, no Gnome; no kdm/gdm, etc.

After a cold start of the computer I start X by means of startx. The scim
"keyboard" logo is visible in the systray (as it should).

Then I leave X by means of control-alt-backspace. Then start X again. This
time the logo is *not* visible. scim stll works, but there is no logo in the
systray.

I can get the logo back only after complete shutoff of the computer and cold
restart (even a "warm" restart using shutdown -r does not give the logo
back).

Something is obviously not properly cleaned up. I tried removing all sorts
of things from /tmp but so far no success (and no more ideas).

Regards, Jan
