Most important here is the debian/pcs.{postinst,prerm,postrm} logic, if 
you agree to it.

This is for lxc/lxd containers, a fuse filesystem to emulate /proc and 
/sys/fs/cgroup/* for guests.

Do you want me to remove it from the debdiff and send it to the case ? 
I can include the fix in Ubuntu as a SRU patch (based on upstream patch) 
and Debian can just merge with it in the next version, as you said.
