Package: mon Version: 1.2.0-9 Severity: normal The remote.monitor should be considered a core part of mon due to it's use of the mon protocol, it shouldn't be a contrib thing.
Also it should have "use strict;" and be fixed to operate correctly with that. Finally it should have command-line options to not alert until a remote system has been down for some period of time. Getting 2 notifications at the same time about the same issue isn't very useful, what is useful is getting a notification from another host if the first one was unable to send out an alert.
