Package: makedev
Version: 2.3.1-79
Severity: normal
Hello,
please add support for the slamr devices in fuse. It does not have
LANANA assigned major/minor numbers, however it uses numbers reservered
for local use. This has been configured this way a while ago and I did
not get bug reports since then. The devices are created by the following
code now:
for x in 0 1 2 3; do
mkdev slamr $x 242
mkdev slusb $x 243
done
I understand that this is not a state-of-the-art solution, but policy
forces me to do use makedev when I make sl-modem-modules* packages more
official in near future.
Eduard.
