Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

When configuring the /etc/apt/sources.list , I find it more convenient to use
the "mirror redirector service" http://httpredir.debian.org/ . This way, the
administrator does not have to specify the exact mirror but instead rely on the
"redirector" service to choose the best possible mirror. More details can be
found in
1) https://www.debian.org/mirror/list
2) http://httpredir.debian.org/

Currently the debian-handbook does not discuss about this service. Would it be
possible to add a section or atleast mention it somewhere in the book?

thanks
raju
