Package: lttng-modules-dkms
Version: 2.8.1-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

In package installation, DKMS report me an error when try to load the modules
recently compiled:
...
DKMS: install completed.
Setting up lttng-tools (2.8.2-1) ...
[ 2251.392477] systemd[1]: apt-daily.timer: Adding 57min 48.599681s random time. [ 2252.653660] systemd[1]: apt-daily.timer: Adding 9h 38min 14.103916s random time.

[ 2256.019005] lttng_kretprobes: Unknown symbol _GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE_ (err 0)
Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.24-5) ...

After installation, when try to load with modprobe these modules, obtain the same error.

So modules seems that are not correctly compiled.

I suspect missing
MODFLAGS += -fno-pic
in makefiles
