Package: libasound2 Version: 1.0.10+1.0.11rc2-1 Severity: important When capturing the line input on an intel8x0, only the left channel is recorded. This is not a problem with the cable or the signal, as unmuting the line input reveals that both channels contain sound.
This appears to be the problem described in ALSA bug #1658, which is documented here: https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=1658 Upstream says this is resolved in 1.0.11rc2; however, experimental's 1.0.10+1.0.11rc2-1 is still only capturing the left channel for me. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-amd64-k8 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages libasound2 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an libasound2 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
