Package: libedit2 Version: 3.1-20160903-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
the update to 20160903-1 causes the input to LLDB to break. Instead of the expected characters, random unicode sequences show up, so e.g. If I type (lldb) test it will show up as (lldb) \U+9F574\U+9F565\U+9F573\U+9F574 Downgrading to 20150325-1+b1 fixes this. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libedit2 depends on: ii libbsd0 0.8.3-1 ii libc6 2.24-5 ii libncurses5 6.0+20160917-1 ii libtinfo5 6.0+20160917-1 libedit2 recommends no packages. libedit2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
