Those credentials are stored in gnome-keyring-daemon. Is gnome-keyring-daemon running and functional, ie. if you access it with seahors, can you open your keyring and look up your imap password? -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
