I am packaging node-kosmtick, and this requires at least version 5.0.3 of node- semver. The latest version released by upstream is 5.3.0, and the current version in unstable is 2.1.0. There are only a few reverse dependencies, and none of them seem to have strict dependencies. Although I have not tested them. I would be willing to help with the packaging.
