Package: chirp Version: 1:20160717-1 Severity: normal Dear maintainers, thanks for your work with chirp, it's really appreciated.
I'm running into problems using chirp as a non-root user. When it comes to read/write from an usb connected walkie-talkie, chirp complains about wrong permissions and refuses to work. Perhaps I need additional permission configuration in my machine. Anyway, any hint? thanks, best regards. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.7.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.utf8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages chirp depends on: ii python-gtk2 2.24.0-5.1 ii python-libxml2 2.9.4+dfsg1-2 ii python-libxslt1 1.1.29-2 ii python-serial 3.1.1-1 pn python:any <none> chirp recommends no packages. chirp suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
