I'm not so sure about that. At least 'important' isn't RC. Ignoring Ubuntu for now, https://bugs.debian.org/807488 suggests that having sbuild's apt not install recommends is reasonable and it is a problem for a package to fail to build in that situation. As long as this bug gets fixed, it doesn't really matter what its severity is. Jeremy
