Package: firefox Version: 49.0-5 Severity: normal Some things I've noticed going from 49.0-4 to 49.0-5 that I'm inferring are related to turning on GTK+3:
1) Parts of the UI have gained ugly heavy black borders. This seems to be fixed upstream for a future release: https://bug98304.bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1266914 2) The address bar is intermittently non-functional: I can type in it, but hitting enter or the "go" button does nothing. I did some searching to see if this was a known issue, but mostly only found old / windows-specific issues. Workaround: press ESC to clear the address bar and start over. Also, not related to the GTK+3, but the symbolic icon is terrible IMO: Instead of a recognizable colorful icon, I instead get an unrecognizable circle half the size of any of the other app icons that show in the top bar in Gnome. I guess if the symbolic icon was properly sized it would be better, but having it render so much smaller makes it just a generic round blob with nothing discernably "firefox" about it. For example, the symbolic icon for gnome-terminal is square-ish, and taller/wider than the height of the capital "T".
